Aluminum skirting board is a wall-mounted aluminum profile with a matte anodized finish that protects it from accidental scratches. The profile of the skirting board and the material from which it is made allows it to bend when installed on rounded sections of wall joints with a certain force at radii up to 1.5 m, which is an important advantage.

The main feature of the aluminum skirting board is installation - the aluminum skirting board is fixed both with mounting glue and on a self-adhesive base, which makes installation not only simple, but also extremely fast.

Installation of an aluminum skirting board on a self-adhesive base:

1. Degrease the surface where the skirting board will be installed.
2. Peel off the protective paper from the skirting board.
3. Place the skirting board against the installation sheet and press firmly against the wall along its entire length.

Installation of aluminum skirting boards with glue:

1. Apply adhesive to the inside of the skirting board.
2. Place the plank on the base and press down slightly.
3. Hold for a few minutes to allow the glue to harden.
4. Two thin strips of adhesive will suffice for the fasteners.

Installation of MDF skirting boards using specially designed fasteners:

MDF skirting boards are mounted on parquet boards, laminate and MDF panels.

Installation of MDF plinth is carried out on special staples (hooks) or liquid nails. Sometimes self-tapping screws with dowels, clips, latches and fastening rails are used, plugs are installed at the ends.

1. Holes for spring clips (staples, fastening rails) are placed at a distance of 500-600 mm from each other. They can also be used to lay the cable later.
2. The fixing channels of the plinth must match exactly with the tabs of the selected fixture.
3. Using light pressure, the strips are installed on the fasteners. At the corners, specially designed corners are mounted.
